    Abstract:

    Architecture popular science education base in Chongqing University relies on the advantages of National Demonstration Center of Civil Engineering Experimental Education, Key Laboratory of Mountain Town Construction and New Technology of Ministry of Education, Joint Laboratory of International Cooperation on Green Building and Human Settlement Environment and other platform bases. It opens cutting-edge scientific and technological resources in the fields of construction and planning, engineering construction, disaster prevention and reduction, building environment, and green energy, carries out various science popularization activities. The base adheres to the concept of coordinated development of scientific research, teaching and science popularization, continuously improves the construction system, and carries out exploration and practice from five aspects: construction of science popularization team, planning and management of science popularization place, popular science content development, development of science popularization activities, and output of science popularization works. While carrying out laboratory construction, curriculum reform and personnel training, the base deeps the transformation of scientific and technological resources, promotes the integration of science and education, and makes contributions to the construction of science popularization in China.
