Abstract:In order to forge a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation and effectively integrate ethnic exchanges, interactions, and integrations into the entire process of undergraduate education, taking the architectural history teaching module of the architecture major as the entry point, by adhering to the orientation of the Chinese nation community, examining the current education situation, and combining the characteristics of the curriculum, three major reform strategies are proposed: a new interpretation of the content through integrating the history of ethnic exchanges, interactions, and integrations with architectural history courses, an innovative design training with local historical propositions, and a sustainable response based on regional green learning. The research holds that the module teaching reform of architectural history should focus on the practical application of contextual knowledge and the cultivation of cross-disciplinary abilities, so as to cultivate innovative and skilled talents with an understanding of traditional culture and a sense of social responsibility.
