    Abstract:

The reform of ideological and political education in the new era is constantly deepening. The rapid development of digital technology has provided an innovative path for the inheritance of red cultural genes in Sichuan-Chongqing region. Taking representative red historical memorial buildings in this region as a core carrier, the paper explores activating explicit red cultural symbols and empower the innovation and practical transformation of ideological and political education courses by digital means. Through digital resource empowerment–digital hybrid course package–multi-party practical education, a regional digital resource library centered on digital red historical buildings is constructed to promote the three-dimensional construction of teaching materials. An online immersion + offline practice hybrid course module is developed to enhance students’ recognition of the value of red culture. Digital platforms are relied on to establish a school-local collaboration practical mechanism and extend ideological and political education scenarios. Practice has proved that digital empowerment not only enhances red gene inheritance, but also provides a new path for the high-quality development of ideological and political education in ethnic areas through the deep integration of technical logic and educational logic.
