Abstract:Tectonic has become a hot topic in the teaching of architecture in recent years. The training of tectonic awareness offers a more essential view to understand architecture. Through the analysis of the operation of two teaching units, chair making and full-scale model construction of small buildings, the essay introduces the tectonic exploration in the teaching of architectural design basis.
