    Abstract:

The construction of Golden Courses is an important factor quality and guarantee of higher education overall construction. It is urgent to innovate from education idea, training program, curriculum setting, teaching mode etc. General courses are the vital roles in higher education to cultivate students’ overall quality such as humanistic literacy, moral sentiment, social responsibility. Based on the characteristics of different majors’ general courses, combined with the Golden Course construction, if the teaching effect of general education courses on civil engineering is improved, the limit of traditional teaching mode based on major courses should be broken and the unalloyed “teaching” on “teacher center” should transform into “learning” on “student center”. In order to response the national construction on “Double First-Class” university and “Golden Courses” and try to transfer students’ attention on mobile phone into the classes, the author focus on the innovation of teaching mode, relate the present hotpots on social environment, and take advantage of every possible measurement such as entity mode, engineer practice, mobile network, social platform, network video, traditional excellent teaching methods etc. As an example of civil general education course “Bridge Aesthetics”, the author gropes a feasible method to set a serial of “Golden Courses” which can be referred by peers.
