Abstract:
Based on the comparative perspective of engineering ethics education in China and US, this paper proposes a engineering ethics education mode with Chinese characteristics based on the "ideological and political education in curriculum" approach. Emphasize the guidance of mainstream values in teaching objectives; The focus of education theme is on how to conduct engineering professional courses which carry out the requirements of moral education and highlight the infiltration education under the concept of "Curriculum Education". This model is helpful to broaden the theme of engineering ethics from the perspective of the organic combination of engineering technology and humanistic education, engineering discipline culture and professional ethos. Engineering ethics education, as the part of localization strategy in ideological and political education in curriculum, should strengthen system guarantee, strengthen the concept recognition of teachers, constructing a collaborative mechanism for teachers of engineering ethics courses, and enhance the educational effect of embedded approach.
