The School of Civil Engineering of Chongqing University takes the "Double first-class" construction, "Double ten thousand plan", "excellent plan", "new engineering construction" and other policy strategies and reform projects as opportunities and aims at cultivating comprehensive engineering talents with innovative spirit and excellent practical and application ability. It continues to build and improve its curriculum by means of knowledge system improvement, integration of scientific research and teaching resources, interdisciplinary teaching, educational informationization construction and diversified teaching methods expansion.Since 2002, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering speciality has taken the lead in building and practicing the independent experimental "Professional Comprehensive Experiment Course". In 2019,the experimental projects of "Professional Comprehensive Experiment Course" were highly recognized by students in consolidating their understanding of professional knowledge, exercising their practical application ability, analyzing and summarizing ability, innovative thinking and other aspects. The course carries out the teaching philosophy of "student-centered" and has a distinct sequential and systematic character in talent cultivation. It has mature information technology and integrates undergraduate theoretical teaching, engineering application practice and master and doctoral academic research."Professional Comprehensive Experiment Course" makes the experimental practice teaching a real "battlefield" for students' knowledge transformation and ability training.
