    Abstract:

    "Introduction to Civil Engineering" is a basic course that tells about the history of civil engineering development, various civil engineering objects, basic civil engineering activities, and civil engineer occupations. The content of "Introduction to Civil Engineering" determines the relevant moral education elements such as core socialist values, family and country sentiments, international vision, innovative thinking, professional ethics, academic accomplishment, building a strong country, craftsmanship and other related moral education elements. The paper discusses the goals of curriculum ideological and political, designs the mapping points of curriculum ideological and political according to specific content. It also analyzes the implementation plan of curriculum ideology and politics in three aspects: carrying out curriculum ideology and politics in "poetry and picturesque", carrying out curriculum ideology and politics in "indirect practice", and carrying out curriculum ideology and politics in "humanistic feelings".
