    Abstract:

In line with the problems of the current teaching mode in applied undergraduate institutions, a strategic analysis was conducted from three aspects: teaching process, teaching form and teaching evaluation, and corresponding teaching reform suggestions were made specifically in terms of teaching objectives, teaching mode, teaching activities and teaching evaluation, etc. An intelligent classroom teaching mode supported by information technology was proposed. This teaching mode is based on the intelligent classroom from the perspective of information technology. With the help of the new generation of information technology and the combination of modern information tools, the classroom is organically combined with intelligent tools to build a digital and intelligent modern classroom environment. The teaching mode is applied to the Engineering Geology course, targeting students majoring in urban underground space and implementing the teaching process of " before-class - during-class - after-class". The teaching model was implemented with the support of the Chaoxing Learning Platform. After the completion of the specific course, the application effect is investigated and analyzed. The results showed that the model fully reflected the advancement of the intelligent classroom and achieved excellent teaching results, and changed the learning status of students, improved their comprehensive ability, and helped cultivate the intelligent students.
