CiteSpace software is used to visually analyze the CSSCI research literature on professional degrees in CNKI database. The research in this field has experienced four stages of historical evolution: reference and exploration period (1992～1996), practice expansion period (1997～2001),summary and reflection period (2002～2009) and connotation improvement period (2010～2020) Postgraduate education and training mode as the research focus and research theme. In the future research, At the macro level, we should strengthen the research on the leading role of national development strategy in the development of professional degree postgraduate education guided by strategy; At the meso level, we should innovate and construct the professional degree postgraduate education and training system driven by goal; At the micro level, we should carry out the research on Historical Tracing and international comparison and reference with problem orientation as the starting point.
