    Abstract:

    In the context of the construction of "New Engineering", cultivating students" practical ability and innovation ability is crucial to the cultivation of innovative talents. In recent years, the bridge engineering group in the School of Civil Engineering of Tongji University has made bold reforms in the mode of production practice, taking into account the development trend of intelligent bridge construction and the latest development and hot issues in the field of bridge engineering construction, and has gradually formed a new mode of production practice with "cutting-edge practice theme, refined management procedure, efficient output and diversified teaching methods". The new model of production internship teaching is centered on the development of students and the diversification of teaching methods. The new model is centered on student development, oriented to multiple outputs, and explores refined control and evaluation methods to ensure the quality of teaching internship and promote students" harvesting of multi-faceted results. Since its application, the new practical teaching model has been widely praised by students and internship units.
