Abstract:
Basic principle of concrete structures is the key compulsory course for undergraduate personnel training in Civil Engineering major. Experimental teaching is an important part of the whole teaching process, which is the key link of improving the teaching quality of reinforced concrete structure course. This paper explores the general situation of the experimental course of the basic principles of concrete structures. The characteristics of less teaching time and more teaching content of experimental course, and the teaching objectives of improving practical innovation ability are analyzed. The current teaching status and existing problems under the background of educational reform are also analyzed. In view of the characteristics of strong comprehensiveness and high application of experimental teaching of concrete structures, the innovation and expansion of the teaching experimental platform of concrete structures are explored. Based on the principle of student-oriented and problem-oriented education, the research and discussion on the innovative experimental course teaching system of concrete structures are carried out from the perspectives of structural experimental platform, course content design, experimental teaching methods and implementation schemes, as well as evaluation methods and indicators. By improving the teaching schemes and evaluation indicators, changing the educational concept, innovating the educational method, the innovative experimental course teaching system of concrete structures will be established with the scientific and reasonable teaching experimental platform as the core. It is aimed to fully excavate students’ innovative potential, deepen students’ understanding of the basic theory and concept of concrete structures, cultivate students’ comprehensive practical ability and innovative consciousness, further enhance students’ practical operation ability and the ability to deal with practical engineering problems. The development of experimental technology and the improvement of teaching level of concrete structures will be entirely promoted. The level of comprehensive quality training of Civil Engineering professionals will be improved.
