Abstract:As an active response to the trends and needs of national development and education innovation, and taking full advantage of its unique international tradition and character, Tongji University has been restructuring its teaching system by strengthening the consistency between of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and integrating professional and general education, aiming at hoisting the students’ competitiveness in the global world in the future. A series of key reforms have been conducted on design courses, training modes, teaching contents, design teaching staff organization, and double degree programs. What have been achieved in the current stage by the experiment and exploration of Tongji could pioneer a deeper and wider reflection and transformation of Chinese architecture education.
