Abstract:
In the new era, the society put forward higher requirements for the cultivation of engineering talents in universities. Integrating ideological and political education into professional course teaching is an important measure to fulfill the mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the State, implement the Party's education policy and the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents. This article has analyzed the ideological characteristics of engineering postgraduates through interviews and surveys. Based on the course of "Introduction to Engineering Vocational Qualification", this study explores effective ways to integrate professional education with ideological and political education, and explores practical methods for the new path of higher education in the new era from the perspective of ideological and political theories teaching in all courses (IPTTIAC). Practice has proved that the professional recognition of postgraduates has been greatly increased by combining professional teaching and ideological and political education. At the same time, it has stimulated postgraduates’ native land emotions, answered students’ questions, strengthened their belief, and pointed out the further direction for them. This article provides ideas and methods for exploring the IPTTIAC construction of postgraduate courses in engineering colleges and universities.
