This paper analyzes the current situation of China's education informatization level and the development of smart education, and expounds the problems and challenges in the integration of software and hardware, shared resource service platform, education informatization guarantee mechanism and educational teaching theory in the process of promoting smart education reform for Chinese colleges and universities. This paper gives five measures to promote the high-quality development of education through smart education for colleges and universities in China: promote the effective integration of software and hardware of smart education, build new scenes of smart education, and improve the effect of smart education; upgrade and optimize the national public service platform of smart education, innovate the mode of smart teaching and resource construction; carry out in-depth research on the methods and theories of smart education, innovate smart teaching mode and practice, promote the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching; improve the guarantee mechanism of smart education and education informatization, strengthen the supervision and audit of smart education platforms to prevent smart education risks.
