Abstract:
The international joint design education in architecture disciplines at universities aligns with the cutting-edge concepts and technologies of global architectural, significantly promoting the high-quality development of architectural disciplines and laying a solid talent foundation for enhancing the international influence and leadership of China’s architectural industry. This paper uses CiteSpace and VOSviewer as tools to analyze relevant literature on international joint design education in architecture disciplines from the CNKI and Wanfang databases, as well as proceedings from academic conferences on architectural education in Chinese higher institutions. It maps out the knowledge framework in this field, explores the research development trends in international joint design education since 2000, and summarizes the teaching models and core concepts. The paper elaborates on the international joint design teaching model from the aspects of teaching organization, communication methods, and collaborative design teamwork. It also extracts the core concepts of international joint design education from the perspectives of the localized application of international experiences, student capability development, and fostering a sense of humanistic care and social responsibility, while providing an outlook on its future development.
