    Abstract:

Based on the severe challenges faced by the construction industry in the new era, this study analyzes the main issues and countermeasures in civil engineering talent training against the backdrop of modernization transformation and high-quality development of the construction industry. Through the coordination of three "chains," the integration of three aspects, and the adoption of three models, a multidimensional professional course system integrating ideological and political education has been established, addressing issues such as low learning interest, insufficient career confidence, and a lack of career aspirations among civil engineering students. By establishing an emergency management innovation class, offering modular elective courses, constructing a disciplinary competition system spanning "class-school-province-nation" levels in emergency management, and implementing the strategy of revitalizing the country through science and education, traditional civil engineering undergraduates are endowed with specialized knowledge and skills in intelligent disaster prevention and emergency response, construction operations, industrialization/digitalization/green/sustainable operation and maintenance, and cultivating "new quality productivity" talents in civil engineering. This addresses the issue of severe homogenization in traditional civil engineering talent training. Through a dual-drive approach of "internal training and external introduction, combined with specialization," a high-level structured "new quality productivity" talent training faculty for civil engineering has been created, solving the problem of traditional teachers' teaching levels and professional skills being inadequate for cultivating talents with the "four modernizations" new quality productivity required by the construction industry. Based on the above measures, an innovative talent training model featuring for local applied universities has been constructed, focusing on cultivating "new quality productivity" talents in civil engineering, with significant educational outcomes.
