Abstract:In response to the pain points existing in the experimental teaching of reinforced concrete structures, such as the time and space limitations of physical experiments, the difficulty in conducting high-risk operations, and the fragmented learning process, a "Virtual Simulation Experimentation Platform for Structural Failure of Reinforced Concrete Structures" with the three features of "high-fidelity immersive environment, refined process simulation, and intelligent data verification" has been developed and researched. By deeply integrating the advantages of virtual technology with educational cognitive theories, advanced teaching models such as progressive teaching, heuristic teaching, and inquiry-based teaching have been realized. A pioneering and systematically implemented online and offline hybrid teaching model deeply integrating virtual simulation technology has been created, successfully breaking through the traditional paradigm of physical experiment teaching. Empirical evidence shows that this model effectively overcomes the limitations of traditional experiments, significantly enhances students' autonomous exploration and problem-solving abilities, and deepens the understanding of principles through the mutual driving mechanism of virtual and physical sensations, providing a transferable digital transformation path for practical teaching in civil engineering.
