    Abstract:

    In response to the realistic requirements of high-quality development of education in the context of digital transformation of education, the theoretical content and framework model of 5E blended teaching “centered on student development” were proposed based Engineering Hydrology.The model primarily consists of five phases - " Engagement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, Evaluation" and three dimensions - "Teaching Requirements, Online Activities, Offline Activities".Meanwhile, the teaching content has been restructured based on demand, a case library of ideological and political elements has been established, and teaching practices have been implemented along with effectiveness analysis.The 5E blended learning model of “student-centered development” is an important guide for the reconstruction of authentic, innovative and continuous course learning experiences and practices, as well as the establishment of the blended education, learning and assessment framework, which can be tried to borrow and apply to the teaching practice of college courses in order to improve the quality of classroom teaching and talent cultivation.
