Abstract:Abstract: In response to the challenges posed by industrial restructuring, the advancement of intelligent construction and green low-carbon development, as well as the diversification of student backgrounds, the Introduction to Civil Engineering course needed to shift from knowledge enumeration to a learning closed-loop of experience-understanding-action. Focusing on students' authentic learning experience, this study proposed a “One Core-Three Chains-Five Methods” framework for course reform, restructuring the content chain, practice chain, and industry-university-research chain. By integrating methods such as flipped classroom, project-based learning, and BIM/VR contextualized teaching, a three-level practice system of “cognition-simulation-reality” was constructed, and a dual evaluation mechanism combining process and summative assessment was implemented. The results show that the reform effectively enhances students' classroom participation and learning satisfaction, reduces learning frustration, and strengthens professional identity and learning motivation, laying a solid foundation for subsequent course learning and career development.
