Abstract:Curriculum ideological and political education is a key measure to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. In light of the special orientation of environmental ecological engineering talent cultivation in comprehensive universities, this paper addresses issues in the Ecological Engineering course: the separation of professional knowledge from ideological education, the mismatch between teaching content and industry needs, and the gap between theory and practice. Based on an analysis of the necessity for ideological and political construction, the study develops an innovation-driven teaching system that integrates theoretical foundation with practical deepening, and establishes a two-way education mechanism combining "industry empowerment" and "contextual integration," advanced through four collaborative dimensions: content reconstruction, case integration, contextual immersion, and multi-dimensional evaluation. Based on an analysis of the necessity of ideological and political construction in this course, the study establishes a curriculum ideological and political teaching system driven by innovation and deeply integrating theoretical foundation with practical empowerment, and develops a two-way education mechanism combining "industry empowerment" and "scenario embedding." The construction is carried out specifically across four dimensions: content reconstruction, case integration, contextual immersion, and multi-dimensional evaluation. By deeply exploring local cases in soil, water, and terrestrial ecological restoration, scientific spirit, institutional confidence, and patriotism are integrated into professional teaching. An open practice platform is built upon actual engineering projects and disciplinary competitions, forming a teaching methodology at three levels: classroom context, on-site context, and practical context. Practice demonstrates that this model effectively unifies knowledge impartation with ability cultivation, and can serve as a reference for the ideological and political reform of environmental specialty courses in comprehensive universities with prominent architectural characteristics.
