The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology provides new opportunities for the internationalization of higher education in China, including AI-enabled transformation of international education models, open sharing of international education resources, deepening of international academic cooperation, and transformation of international talent cultivation models. However, in the process of development, dilemmas such as the digital divide exacerbating inequality, insufficient adaptation of quality assurance systems, and lagging supporting capacity building still urgently need to be addressed. Based on this, the paper proposes transcendence paths including constructing inclusive development mechanisms, improving digital quality assurance systems, and strengthening supporting capacity building, in order to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the high-quality development of internationalization of higher education in China.
