Abstract:The development of scientific and technological innovation in cultural heritage and the demands of cultural heritage conservation in the new era have imposed new requirements on interdisciplinary talent cultivation in the intersecting field of geotechnical engineering and cultural heritage conservation. In response to problems such as a mismatch between professional education and industry needs, an incomplete curriculum system, a limited faculty structure, insufficient practical platform construction, and an imperfect training evaluation mechanism, the School of Civil Engineering at Chongqing University, integrating its disciplinary characteristics with industry development needs, established a postgraduate training model featuring "interdisciplinary education, platform sharing, project-driven learning, and collaborative education." Through measures such as differentiated and classified training, curriculum optimization, dual-supervisor guidance, the construction of on- and off-campus practice platforms, and improvement of the training evaluation mechanism, postgraduate students were guided to engage in learning and training through research projects and cultural heritage conservation engineering practice. These practices created conditions for enhancing postgraduate students' interdisciplinary innovation ability and engineering practice ability, initially forming a referable training pathway and providing a reference for talent cultivation in the intersecting field of geotechnical engineering and cultural heritage conservation.
