Abstract:With the development of new technology, many scholars begin to pay great attention to the researches in the combination of second language acquisition and new technology. With the help of CALL software, when students meet unknown words in reading, they can choose all kinds of annotations in electronic dictionary to understand and remember the word. This study focuses on how many words are remembered in this process and the relationship between what is looked up about new words when different kinds of information in electronic dictionary are available and how well these words are remembered.
