    Abstract:

    Based on the preliminary practice on the reform in education of park design for urban and rural planning junior students in the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Guizhou University, current situation and reform methods of the course were discussed in this paper. The reform effect was researched by observation, interview and questionnaire survey. Suggestions were also put forward to deepen the reform. Practice has proved that the reform in education of park design was positive in establishing the landscape architecture knowledge system, improving the quality of design education and cultivating new type of urban and rural planning students.
