    Abstract:

    As an important carrier of higher education, teaching materials play a significant role in improving the teaching quality of colleges and universities and cultivating excellent professionals. They are a strategic measure to comprehensively promote the ideological and political construction of courses and implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue and cultivating talents. In this paper, the ideological and political construction of the teaching material steel bridge is based on the advanced teaching content and focusing on the appropriate and promoting ideological and political content, so that the teaching material steel bridge is more high-level, innovative and challenging. Firstly, this paper re-understands the ideas of curriculum based ideological and political education, condenses the ideological and political elements and classifies them. Then, according to the knowledge points in each chapter of the teaching material steel bridge, combined with the integration of seven ideological and political elements in education, the curriculum based ideological and political design is realized, and the relationship between professional knowledge points and curriculum based ideological and political elements is established. Finally, it constructs the ideological and political content in the teaching material to realize the characteristic teaching content of the ideological and political teaching material steel bridge. The research results can provide ways and methods for realizing the all-round, multi-dimensional and deep-seated curriculum based ideological and political construction of engineering professional courses, and make the curriculum-based ideological and political content more systematic, scientific and standardized.
