Evaluation system of university is an important component of modern unviersity system, due to its functions of supervision, evaluation, identification and guidance. It has become the basis of colleges and unviersities contacting with society and dealing with internal affairs of schools. The building of a harmonious campus must have a security system and establish a scientific evaluation system, which is an important componet to promote the building of harmonious campus. Firstly, this paper discusses the constructive significance of building harmonious campus and modern university evaluation system. And then, on the basis of comparison of the evaluation system of foreign unviersities, it aims at the China’s current status and problems, and puts forward some suggestions in order to perfect the university evaluation system of building a harmonious campus.
