In the multiactors governance era, government regulation, as a mode of governance and an institution arrangement, becomes one of the hottest political research topics. Combination the notion of governance to the regulation reform is one of the characteristics of metaregulation government. This paper analyzes the modes of government regulation, the drives, contents and the trajectories of government regulation reforms, explores the metaregulatory government for the age of governance and fatherly provides experiences for Chinese government regulation reform.
