The introduction of singing skills of traditional Chinese opera into China’s folk songs is the research topic of common concern within the discipline in recent years. Taking the author’s composition “Mei Lanfang” as an example, this paper intends to carry out a multi-dimensional humanistic interpretation of the work and an analysis of creation techniques and to expound the understanding and interpretation in the process of singing from what is experienced. This paper, based on the analysis of the universality and individuality between China’s folk songs and traditional Chinese opera, mainly probes into aspects of lubricating tune and performance of the work in an intensive way.
