The excessive ideological approach in the research of Hao Ran is one of the problems in the new period. Aiming at this problem,this essay seeks to interpret Hao Ran’s literary charm in a way of stripping off the political discourses behind his novels. Starting from close reading and experience,this interpretation will focus on several perspectives: spirit of collectivity,ideals of adolescence,and farmers language. In this way we will illustrate the validity of literary interpretation in the studies of Hao Ran and give a fullness account of the objectivity of studies and reviews of his texts,hoping it could bring the studies of HaoRan to a more profound stage.
