Based on rural micro-data of household, using the method of Gini decomposition and simulation income, the author studies income inequality and poverty in rural areas. The results show that farmers' entrepreneurial activity relieved of degree of poverty in rural will help the poor to increase family income. On the other hand, the farmers' entrepreneurship will increase the income inequality.
