The essay, based on axiology, discusses post-modernism, intension of “cultural value, historical authentic value and social value” in the urban historical legacy reservation and the development and change of the extension, with the aim to find favorable factors of historical cultural legacy reservation perspective and methods, and to be cautious about dissimilation from the combination of nihilism and commercial capital as well.
