Abstract:Domestic studies of the rule of law continue to emerge, and then study of the results of these studies is also very important. The author thinks there are three ways of studying the rule of law in contemporary China: one way is sublation, namely researches the Western theory of the rule of law by way of comparison and restatement; the second is the way of history, that is researching the theory development of the rule of law in the ancient Western world, as well as in the growth of modern China; the third is the theoretical approach, which starts from the terms of the concept of the rule of law, standards, meaning, path, thinking, and theoretical system, and constructs the China-based theories of rule of law.
