高校学报作为科技期刊的重要价值主体，在社会文化的选择、创造、积累和传播过程中发挥了极其重要的作用。然而，高校学报固有的封闭性、从属性也决定了其存在保守性。随着知识经济时代的到来，高校学报必须改革开放，全面创新，方能谋求更大的发展。
