The printing pigments of Zhuxian Town Woodblock New Year print are processed by purely natural plant and minerals and the painting is steady in color,antimoth,with no pollution and keep new for a long time. On the basis of informative investigation on the craft of printing pigment production,the article found that pigment can be used to make medicine. Therefore,combined with traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology as the entry point,the article analyzes the cultural concepts embodied in the process,folk custom phenomenon and artistic factors such as the law of the inherent logic relationship,which serves as necessary review support for China’s “cultureprotecting program”.
