Suicide stems from pain, which indicates that some aspect of life has been damaged, and when this damage builds up to a certain limit, death will happen. College students’ suicide is mainly attributed to employment pressure, academic pressure, deviation and loss of personal beliefs, and psychological fragility. In view of this, higher education must highlight the importance of life education with Marxist theory of human’s all-round development as the guidance, strengthen the psychological counseling and guidance, and offer the course of life education.
