Abstract:From the perspective of the three-dimensional analysis framework of supply, demand and environment, this paper takes 69 industrial policy documents related to artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing issued by the eastern, central and western regions of China during 2015-2018 as samples, and uses content analysis method to analyze various policies.The research shows that: on the whole, the issued industrial policies on artificial intelligence are mainly environmental policies and supply-oriented policies, while demand-oriented policies are relatively few.In terms of environmental policies, the eastern, central and western regions all attach importance to the important role of target planning in industrial development. In addition, the eastern region is mainly dominated by regulations and regulations, while the central region provides more financial support and the western region lays more emphasis on strategic measures.In terms of supply policy, the eastern and central regions pay attention to the use of policy tools related to human resource management, capital investment and scientific and technological infrastructure.In terms of demand-related policies, the eastern region encourages international cooperation and conducts trade control at the same time. Government procurement plays a greater role in the development of artificial intelligence industry in the central region, while the western region attaches more importance to the role of international cooperation in promoting industrial development.Finally, combined with the use of three types of policy tools, the paper puts forward policy suggestions for the future development of China's artificial intelligence industry.
