公正高效权威的司法制度是中国特色社会主义法治体系的应有之意，站在"两个一百年"的历史交汇点上，为了进一步深化司法体制改革，提高司法公信力，努力让人民群众在每一个司法案件中都能够感受到公平正义，习近平法治思想运用马克思主义法治理论并结合中国特色社会主义法治实践，针对司法体制改革提出了一系列理论命题，丰富了司法改革的理论内涵。在人民司法领域形成了"人民司法观"，从司法权的根本属性、行使目的，以及运行效果方面充分诠释了人民司法的核心要义；在公正司法领域形成了"公正司法观"，通过彰显司法中的公平正义、监督制约等价值，树立了司法权威，获得人民对司法的认同；在司法治理领域形成了"司法治理观"，提出了要充分发挥司法的定分止争功能，以司法公信力建设为引领提高司法治理的有效性，使司法的保障功能体现在社会的各个领域，以满足新时期人民对司法的需求；在司法监督领域形成了"司法监督观"，创新提出了新型司法权制约监督的理论，以党内监督为核心，实现国家机关监督、民主监督、司法监督、群众监督、舆论监督有效贯通，创制了多种监督司法的手段实现监督司法的目的；在司法职业领域形成了"司法职业观"，从司法职业队伍建设、领导干部的职业能力、司法品德等方面入手，力求打造一支高素质的法治工作队伍。通过对五种司法观的创制与凝练，习近平法治思想深刻地回答了新时代如何建设公正权威高效司法制度等重大问题。习近平法治思想中的司法观是建立在我国长期司法改革实践基础之上的，在司法体制改革的实践中，司法机关以习近平法治思想为指引，探索建立了符合中国特色社会主义司法制度的相关制度机制，用实际行动彰显了习近平法治思想的实践品格。习近平法治思想中的司法观是推动我国司法改革纵深发展的基础理论和根本遵循。
