This thesis takes the modernization mode of Marxist sinicization as an approach to interpreting the main theories and historical changes of modernization. It tries to analyze the reasons for Marxist modernization theory’s being neglected and marginalized, exploring the historical course and specific characteristics of China’s modernization. It reveals the process of combining Marxism with the reality of China’s modernization, concluding that the socialist modernization mode with Chinese characteristics is of historical inevitability and great theoretical significance.
