    Abstract:

    Performance assessmnet of higher schools is a world-wide problem. The main task on how to solve problem is to confirm the right value orientation, design a scientific performance assessment system and exercise the assessment result correctly. The value orientation of Chinese governemnt’s performance assessment should help higher schools return to “commonweal”, fulfill the obligation of personnel training and achieve sustainable development.
