    Abstract:

Ecological thought concerns about Nature, man-made Nature and constructed environment, and the focus is the balance of Man and Nature, as well as the inquiry of the alienated city and the false-ecological landscape. Noth American dystopian novels agree with the idea basically. Nature in these texts can be divided into three layers, and the sharp contrast among which reflects the writers’ thoughts about social responsibility and ethical duty that the new mode science should shoulder.
