Abstract:This paper first discusses the limited effect of steel fibre reinforcement on plain concrete and reinforced concrete. Then, making a comparison among the test results of three full-scale top corner joint assemblies of frame, in which only two of them are added with steel fibres in joint zone. The advantageous and disadvantageous influence in anti-seismic aspect is investigated after adding steel fibres in the joint zone. Finally, this paper gives an overall comment on the application future of using the steel fibres in every kinds of joint of anti-seismic reinforced concrete frame.

Abstract:The main problem in optimal control of approximate period process is the optimization of periodic initial state. A fictitious control method is advanced in this paper. In combination with the link method of states between two periods, this method not only gives a quite good optimal result, but also reduces the quantity to be computed and stored. The simulation of optimal control in a water plant shows the availability of this method.

Abstract:This papr discusses algorithm and convergence of twostage iteratve procedure for solving systems of symmetric positive definite linear equation Ax=b. On the basis of nature splitting of A, this algorithm makes two-step linear iterative procedure (named outer iteration) and makes convergent inner iteraton of any kind.They generate a sequence of approximations {x_h} w.hich converges to the solution Ax=b quickly. This paper also proves is convergene and gives the estimation of error.

Abstract:本文研究了下向流厌氧流化床(DAFB)常温处理高浓度有机废水(屠宰废水)的工况,并对反应器运行性能的影响因素进行了分析。结果表明,在自然常温条件下,当进水COD浓度高于5000mg/l,容积负荷率16kgCOD/m~3·d时,去除率可保持在80%以上。

Abstract:In this paper, by means of X-ray analysis and scanning electron microscope technology, the hydration and strength development of spontaneous gangue cement under the condition of normal atmospheric temperature and steam curing are analysed. This work provides experimental and theoretical basis for the usage of spontaneous combusted gangue cement.

Abstract:Taking part in the formulation of "the Standard for Chinese Hotel Air-Conditioning Energy Consumption," the authors study the thermal characteristics and carry out dynamic simulation of annual air-conditioning(heating) energy consumption of six well-known hotels located in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhon. This paper particularly analyses how the architectural design and the thermal characteristics (including building orientation, building plane, wal lstructure, window area and structure) effect air-conditioning load and air-conditioning energy consumption. Some views and suggestions on methods of architectural design are put forward, which aim to reduce energy costs, capital costs, and space requirement.

Abstract:This paper presents the quasi-full load method, which has many advantages. Its thinking is simple and direct. Its program is easily carried out, its convergence rate is fast and the optimal result is safe, reliable, economical and practical. This paper gives the mathematical model of the space trusses optimum design in practical project, and points out the shortcomings of optimum method often applied by engineers. The method and the peculiarity of quasi-full load structural design are gone into details.

Abstract:Two-dimensional incompressible laminar boundary layer equation can be changed into Blasius equation by means of similarity transformation. In this paper, Blasius equation 2f" '+ff"=0 is transferred into a nonlinear and autonomous system of second order by variable transforming. Taking the advantage of its approximation to linear system, the stability near zero solution can be discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, it is pointed out that some kind of mixed pattern for knowledge representation should be needed in CAD systems, and prototype is just one of this kind of pattern, which is most suitable to representing the relative design knowledge.The paper particularly elaborates the notion of prototype and introduces how to represent a design prototype.Operations on prototypes are also demonstrated in order to conceive the reasoning mechanism in a prototype-based design system.

Abstract:This paper presents boundary element methods for the solution of elliptic partial differential equation with Neumann boundary problem in R~2. Total details of error analysis are given for general condition, and optimal estimates are obtained. For simplicity Laplace's equation is discussed in illustration.

Abstract:This paper presents computer general expressions which include: (1) calculation of the coefficient of normal equation; (2) calculation of the reduced coefficient; (3)calculation of [PVV]; (4)calculation of the correlate; (5) calculation of the weighted reciprocal(1/PF) of the function of adjusted value. Each calculation is written in a corresponding program. As a program block, it may be called anywhere in the course of surveying computation.

Abstract:This paper describs a case study of foundation engineering for forming sand and oval stone piles through the action of quaking, water striking,pouring and packing by a pile driver. The piles and packking mud are combined, forming a compound foundation to support the upper loads. This paper introduces the design and construction of this engineering. In order to check this method for consolidating the soft foundation,the loading test and the settlement observation in site are made. After the construction work,there has been an organized technical identifying meeting. The result out of the identification is positive.
