Abstract:In order to investigate the influence of concrete strength,horlzontal and verticalportions of anchorage length and cover thickness etc,upon the mechanical performance of 90-degreehooks of beam upper bars in exterior joints,static experiments of 40 beam- column subassemblagesare carried out. This study emphasizes the damage characteristics of the anchorage zone,measures thestrains of the bars along the anchorage length and analyzes the special anchorage mechanism of suchhooks of beam bars.

Abstract:Using the method of homogenous testing design this paper analyses a steel cranebeam with right angle sudden change height near supports of different geomitry parameters by the fi-nite elements.The part of height stress point and the stress con cen tration parameter in the beam arefound.After analysing more element nonlinear regression,the relationship between stress concentra-tion parameter and geomitry parameter is established.This paper also discusses both source ofanalysing result error and effect.

Abstract:This paper discusses the procesa of mass lase for fruit in a cold storage with theo-ry of mass transfer and shows that fruit mass loss under constant storage temperature is relative tothe temperature,humidity and moisture diffusive factor,which can give theoretical base for some ac-tual methods for measuring technique decreasing mass loss.

Abstract:By means of the test the pore strticture of cement pastes incorporating calcinedshale,the results show the effect of calcined shale on the pore sturcture of cement pastes.and the ef-fect of calcined shale on the strength of cement pastes with the changing of pore structure. The workprovides an experimental and theoretical basis for the usage of pozzolanic admixture.

Abstract:Mixed mode fracture in rock subjected to compressive loading has many differ-ent features in fracture hehaviour from those subjected to tensile loading,especially when the aper-ture is partly or fully closed.The traditional theory of elastic fracttire mechanics can not be used tosolove compressive-shear fracture problem. Based on fracture characteristics of rock under compres-sion,the formulas to calculate stress intensity factor are updated so that the new strength criterion isevolved to evaluate the crack initiation streilgth.The stress distribution and the relative displacementof crack surface in central slit is confirmed by FEM analysis.

Abstract:The paper analyzes the thermal characteristics of a natural ventilation cold stor-age,It shows that the calculating temperature in or outside the room is mainly effected by atmo-spheric temperature and the calculating temperature for a cold storage. They are determined by thelocal meteorological parameters.

Abstract:This paper presents a simplified plastic zone method with consideration of the in-fluences of the PDelta. residual stress ,degradation of crosssectional stiffness and plastic zone lengthon the stiffness matrix for second-order elastic-plastic analysis of steel frames. The method not onlymakes up for a insufficiency which is that the degradation of crosssectional stiffness and plasticzone length in a member ean not be considered by a plastic hinge method but also overcomes a defectwhich is very costly and time-consuming because a fine mesh discretization across the crosssectionand along the member length is required by a plastic zone methed. Analysis result Shows proposedsimplified rnethod is simple and practical.
