Abstract:Urbanization in China is at an essential point in its transformation from the initial stage to accelerating stage. With quick expansion of city scale and large occupation of land for urban construction, the contradiction between land resource shortage and people's living needs becomes more and more prominent. It has great affection on the grand plan of China's sustainable development of economy and society. How to adjust the relations between the development of urban construction and protect the land resource, promote the rational use of urban land, perfect and complete the protection system of land resource for improving the efficiency of urban land use. In order to conserve land resource and find a sustainable way for development of people's living and environment construction, the above mentioned problems are the most important issue for urban construction and important subject of this paper.

Abstract:The Xi'an Great Mosque is the most important example of the Hui nationality's mosque in China. This paper introduces its Chinese character, which is quite different from that of the Arabian one. All the analyses,such as those on its planning and arrangement, architectural technology etc are based on the history and culture of China's Hui nationality as the background.

Abstract:In China, the county development is very important in promoting the national economy, coordinating the relationship between the city and rural area and achieving sustainable development of the country. The norm of county planning is a document directing the development of the total county area. Therefore, based on the theory of man-land system, this paper discusses the key in drawing up a county planning, such as regulating the economic structure, arranging the town system and protecting the eco-system. Finally, a draft norm of county planning was put forward.

Abstract:The design of Bio-clean operating room in modern hospital is quite different from that of traditional operating room. This paper discusses three aspects of Bio-clean operating room design: air clean standard and air purification, interior equipment system and interior finish. It is hoped that this discussion will conduce to later designs.

Abstract:According to the graphics characteristics of metallic doors & windows design and based on the research of graphics dimension restriction problems. This paper provides a new method for parameterized design of metallic doors & windows in virtue of expression solution. In this method, the restrictions of graphic elements have been changed into the parameter expressions of sizes and positions of graphic elements. Through the calculation of such expressions, the parameter driven method has been reached. Thus the parameterization of graphics can be easier and quicker than before. It can be used to setup the open parameterized graphics libraries.

Abstract:On the basis of experimental results on four specimens of vertically loaded RC joints of local transfer from square column to straight wall, interaction between the transfer beam and the straight wall above it is analyzed. In the test, the effect of height of armpit on the transfer beam upon the behavior of the joint is specially studied. As a result, determination of the design shear force and shear capacity of the transfer beam and calculation of capacity of the straight wall are suggested, taking into account the effect of shear span ratio of the beam.

Abstract:This paper studies the soil stress on the holding sheet between the pile-anchor erecting columns of the pile-anchor holding block structure system often used in Chongqing. Based on the indoor model tests, this paper makes a qualitative analysis about the variation rules of the soil stress on the holding sheet. The results are compared with the calculation results on classical soil stress theory. Then, this paper suggests that the classical soil stress theory is unsuitable to calculating and analyzing the soil stress on the holding sheet.

Abstract:In selection of sliding-resistant system, the engineering geological condition must be considered. Based on the summarization of engineering examples, this paper shows that the accuracy of engineering geological survey is very important in selection of the sliding resistant system. After analyzing the structural behavior and loading conditions of sliding resistant system on cantilever pile-bolt, it shows that this system has many advantages such as reliable quality, good mechanical performance and economic benefits.

Abstract:This paper sums up the current situation of water supply and drainage designs of residential building. In accordance with the owner's demands, the problems related to the installation of water meter and water heater, the layout of pipeline, selection of pipe material and engineering measures are discussed respectively. It also points out some problems existed and inquires into the water system design for residential houses in the future.

Abstract:FIDIC adopted a new construction claims procedure and a new disputes resolution for construction claims in its first edition of New Conditions of Contract published in 1999. The authors analyze the reasons why the FIDIC improves claims procedure and the resolution for construction claims, and describes the impartiality and efficiency of the DAB in resolving and preventing the construction claims disputes with informal procedures.

Abstract:Development Management (DM) in decision phase, Project Management on behalf of the owner (OPM) in implementation phase and Facility Management (FM) in operation phase are three isolated management tools during traditional life cycle management of construction project. As a result, a lot of potential disadvantages are aroused. In recent years, many research organizations try to reform the traditional method using different integration means. This paper tries to explore into integration of DM, OPM and FM to overcome the malpractice of traditional life cycle management of construction project. The research focuses on three aspects: 1.putting forward the concept of Life Cycle Integrated Management (LCIM), based on management integration theory; 2. Raising a new idea to owner's (operator's) management organization design, which emphasizes on the balance of life cycle objectives; 3. Analyzing an information module, level and method of system integration of Life Cycle Integrated Management Information System.

Abstract:Although it is not long since the Chinese real estate appraisal agencies appeared in China, they have been developing quickly. With the increase of real estate appraisal portfolio, the number of real estate appraisal agencies in the market also increases. However, because of the loose management in this field, there are many operation that are not standard and not allowed by the operating rules. This paper tackles this problem on the basis of the special relationship between real estate appraisal agencies and banks, analyzes the present situation in this field in detail and puts forward the strategies accordingly.

Abstract:According to the topological characteristics of BP networks, a Genetic Algorithm based on the structural formula binary-coding has been designed in this paper. By means of fractionalizing the large-scale solution-space and performing the GA operations to the fractionalized subspaces, the GA's global-convergence and parallelism can be utilized to search the subspace for the optimal solution in the whole solution-space, thus definitude the starting point and narrow the domain for the next BP's local-search. Testing shows that the two-step algorithm (GA-BP) can solve the existed problems in the NN's training such as local minimum, tardy convergence and so on.

Abstract:This paper draws up a formula to estimate the pressure to drive static pressure piles penetrating the cobble stratum. The related engineering material is analyzed to verify the correctness of the formula. Some conditions needed to estimate the pressure are put forward.
