根据灰色系统理论，以1995—2002年重庆市煤炭消费量作为基础数据，建立了2个灰色预测模型．应用灰色预测GM（1，1）模型预测了重庆市2005—2011年煤炭消费量，并分析了预测的结果．结果表明，该预测具有较好的精度，结果是可信的．
On the basis of the theory of gray system, two models have been presented to forecast the coal consumed during 2005 -2011. The comparison between coal consumption over 1995 -2002 and the prediction show that the models enjoy a high precision and are practical,and the forecast results are reliable.
