Abstract:Based on a directed graph of power converters, a new generalized connection matrix method was proposed to find out all switch paths and states. By comparing practical switching states to normal states, the sneak circuit paths were identified accordingly. A new switch construction was developed to eliminate sneak circuits. At the same time, the method was used to analyze switching states of threephase PWM rectifiers and identify the sneak paths of zerocurrentswitching resonant switched capacitor (RSC) converters. The results show that the proposed analysis method is effective.
