通过三次天津市科技期刊评估 ,从办学宗旨体现政治导向、内容质量体现学术水平、编校质量体现编辑水平、排印质量和管理质量体现综合效益四个方面分析了《天津城市建设学院学报》的发展变化情况 ,并根据国家对科技期刊发展的导向作用 ,即更加重视期刊的学术质量 ,结合学院实际提出了六点对学报将来发展的设想
