从传统的建筑给排水工程课程体系和人才培养目标的局限性出发,阐述了应用型创新人才的一般内涵;结合国内建筑给排水工程市场的人才需求状况,对不同层次的工程技术创新人才的能力结构进行了分析比较;在此基础上,对改革和完善现有的建筑给排水工程课程体系提出了自己的想法。
