现代CAI或CALL教育技术的发展使得计算机在语言自主学习中的应用日益成熟,但单机光盘型学习存在着一些与语言学习特性相悖的缺陷.文章在分析传统学习光盘的优缺点上着重探讨如何利用现代网络技术构建一个具有开放、自主与互助相结合和适时更新等特点的学习环境,从而克服现有的问题,进一步促进计算机在英语自主学习中的应用.
