Collection of books is an important component of library work. Various kinds of factors which influence the library’s collection of books are discussed in this article,and it is necessary for the university’s conbined library to set up the system of document resources that give a library personality subjects of the university. The author gives advice on how to improve the books structure according to analyse the library work such as buying books, classifying books, shelving books and getting rid of old books.
